Astondoa is a leading Spanish yacht builder, a family business that has been building excellent yachts for over a hundred years. Professional, reliable and with a high level of quality, you can certainly recognise in this beautiful Astondoa 54 GLX.
This yacht is a pleasure to sail with a good streamline, fast and steady on course. It has two super powerful engines, assisted by bow and stern thrusters. The yacht was first launched only in 2006 and has not sailed in the South for the last decade. It shows. The yacht is in original condition and looks very good.
Her sporty shape makes the yacht timeless, the dark windows and wide sliding doors emphasize the luxury feeling. The teak deck is a plus. In sunny weather it is nice to spend time on the flybridge. The large round seat makes it extra cozy. Behind it is plenty of free space for a sun bed, for example. The bimini provides the necessary shade.
The cockpit tent is a second big plus. When the weather is cooler, you can dine here for hours, chat and enjoy sailing. There is plenty of space here as well, and under the settee is a crew cabin with a bed, sink, shower and toilet.
We enter through the wide sliding glass doors. Here is harmony: beautiful wood veneer, semi-circular cabinets, neat carpet and a spacious sitting area with two leather sofas. This is coming home. There is lots of light and lots of space. In the galley is a ship's floor. There are plenty of cabinets. The helm is practical and well equipped with Raymarine navigation devices.
There is carpet on the stairs and in the hallway. Guests have two nice cabins with a closet and two twin beds. Their bathroom has a sink, toilet and large shower. Be sure to note the beautiful finishes. The master cabin is luxuriously finished and here too you will find tall closets. She has an ensuite bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Here you will also find a washing machine. All over the yacht you feel the same level of craftsmanship and quality.
