About the Van Der Heijden 1500 Elegance
For more than fifty years, Van der Heijden has been building reliable yachts with their own strong character and attention to ease of use and luxury. You recognize a Van der Heijden from a distance by her imposing bow and straight roof lines. Both steps at the transom emphasize the elegance of this yacht, and her dark windows and horizontal lines give her a sleek and sturdy line. This yacht has an open steering position with fold-down bracket so you can sail under bridges or through some French tunnels.
Thanks to her new tent, furniture and cushions in the cockpit, this space takes on a lot of meaning. Here you can sit for hours and enjoy the tranquility and the water, close to the steering position.
The yacht is fully equipped with a generator, solar panels, dishwasher and washing machine and recently renewed instruments to stay on board for a long time. The salon is homey, cozy and there is plenty of light. You can choose to sit in the large U-shaped salon or cozy up in the lower dinette. The galley is a few more steps down. This has a practical layout and is well equipped for good cooking, just like at home. Heating is neatly tucked away and there is a practical ship's floor. Guests are welcome aboard and have plenty of privacy thanks to their own bathroom with toilet, hand basin and a shower faucet.In the front is a guest room with a V-bed and a second cabin with a narrow double bed. Under this bed is a closet with the washing machine.
Out back, the master cabin enjoys complete privacy. The room is spacious with a centrally placed bed, all around cabinetry, drawer and mirror and a private bathroom with toilet, hand sink and a spacious shower with sliding doors.
